MIAMI, Fla. (May 8, 2016)—Hartshorne, OK artist Jason Wilson is showing his work in a Curator’s Voice Art Projects show in Miami, Fla.

The Curator's Voice Arts Projects (CVAP) show, titled Real/Unreal, began on May 7 and will run until June 4. The topic of the show is contemporary art created by new practices. Wilson has two pieces in the show.

“I am honored to be in such a prestigious gallery. My two paintings chosen for this show fit the theme because they play with your eyes.” Wilson said about the show.

Dr. Milagros Bello, PhD, is the director and chief curator at CVAP. According to Wilson, Bello found his work through the popular photo sharing application Instagram in 2015.

“She (Bello) contacted me and I sent her my artist statement and my resume. The first show I was in was called Hardedge. She said my paintings fit it perfectly.” Wilson said.

Wilson has led a career in art as the teacher of art at Hartshorne High School. His style is perceptual art, which emphasizes the visual and emotional reaction with the design.
